Of course, the visible staining needs to be addressed. It is ugly and disgusting, and who wants to look at that? However, there's more work to be done.

Our Neutralizer is a state-of-the-art approach to decontamination. Unlike other solutions, it can be safely sprayed into a property to seek out the spores and bacteria that have been distributed throughout the building as the pathogens try to reproduce. The delivery system is the key. A construction contractor will only deal with visible contamination. Same for a hard-surface chemical wipe-down service.

When our technician applies our Neutralize, we don't just target the visible staining here and there. Remember – as mold tries to reproduce, it goes through a multistage process that culminates with the distribution of thousands, tens of thousands, even millions of microscopic, invisible spores, including mycotoxins into the air. These spores and mycotoxins are almost weightless; they float about like dust and are stirred up as people walk through the room; that's how they end up going upstairs and downstairs, finding their way into closets, under the refrigerator and stove, into the carpets and rugs and curtains and drapes, embedding in the soft furniture and bedding … everywhere you can imagine.

A construction contractor can't do anything about this part of the problem, and neither can a chemical wipe service. So their “solutions” leave out the spores that the family inhales every time a person breathes. That's a pretty grave oversight. Can you see why the simple cosmetic approaches are ineffective against the most serious aspect of the contamination?

Here's an additional benefit to the Mold Neutralizers approach, and something very meaningful and not to be overlooked: Our Neutralizer is a catalytic enzyme formulation. What does that mean? It means that it has a residual value the carpenter or chemical wiped service cannot match because neither has it.

Our Neutralizer works very differently than typical chemicals. Our formulation uses safe, natural enzymes as a catalyst. Neutralizer “enables” a reaction to occur, but is not consumed by the reaction. What does that mean? It means that when a molecule of our Neutralize, meets a molecule of contamination, the contamination molecule is destroyed while the Neutralizers molecule survives to combat additional contamination molecules as they may appear, today, tomorrow, next week, and for the next several months. That's what we mean by residual value.

Additionally, after our gas treatment (oxidizing the cell structure of spores and mycotoxins), it will leave behind biomass that may still harbor allergenic proteins. That is why most experts agree that dead mold is as much an allergen as live mold, so merely killing the contamination molecule does not eliminate the allergenic potential for sensitive individuals. Neutralizer goes further; it denatures the dead protein into its building blocks. Proteins are strings of amino acids held together by a peptide bond. Neutralizer breaks down the bond, leaving harmless amino acids that have no allergenic potential. In addition, we incorporated HEPA/CARBON vacuuming to remove the dead mold spores and mycotoxins to go even further.
